Meet Our Lay Speakers
Cheryl Sterling has served Walworth UMC for many years in various leadership roles including Director of Christian Education, Lay Leader, Sunday School Director and Teacher, as well as a dedicated Lay Speaker.
Outside of serving Walworth UMC, Cheryl is an early childhood teacher, providing love and care daily to infants at a childcare center.
Cheryl is mother of four adult children. She and her husband enjoy travel and visiting with their young grandchildren.
Susannah Reafsnyder has served Walworth UMC as a lay speaker a number of times over the past several years. She has served in leadership roles including Vacation Bible School and Book and Bible Study Groups.
Susannah's background and experience are in both theology and education. She is an Early Childhood Special Education Teacher. In addition, she has written more than a dozen books that include collections of devotion and other topics.
